FROM THE FOUNDER
A few years ago, I found myself standing in a pharmacy aisle in Bangalore, genuinely overwhelmed. Shelf after shelf of health and skincare products - each promising everything, most delivering very little. I had been navigating persistent skin issues, and the deeper I researched, the clearer something became: the industry was flooded with noise. Overcrowded formulas. Misleading labels. Products priced for aspiration, not for results.
So I started doing the work myself. Months of reading ingredients, testing claims, consulting dermatologists, and tracking what actually worked on my own skin and body. I kept a running list - products I would genuinely buy again, brands I trusted, things that performed as described. That list quietly became Clovane.
It wasn't a business plan. It was a personal standard. And eventually I thought: if I needed this, others do too.
I'm Anand, and I built this store from Bangalore - not to scale fast, but to build something I would actually want to shop from.

Our values, plainly stated.
These are not aspirational posters on a wall. They are the actual principles by which every decision at Clovane gets made.
01 - Curation over volume We will never list a product just to fill a page. A smaller, honest catalogue is worth infinitely more than a bloated one. If something hasn't been properly evaluated, it simply isn't on the site.
02 - Transparency without jargon We write product descriptions that tell you what something actually does - not what sounds impressive. If there are limitations, we say so. If we don't know something, we say that too.
03 - Fair pricing, always Good health and skincare should not require a luxury budget. We price fairly because we want people to actually be able to buy what works - not just aspire to it.
04 - Real accountability We are a small, independent store. If something goes wrong with your order, you are not speaking to a bot. You are reaching the person who built this - and that matters to me.
A NOTE FROM ANAND
I did not build Clovane to become the biggest store in its category. I built it because I was tired of the guesswork - tired of wondering whether a product was worth it, whether the ingredients were honest, whether the brand actually believed in what it was selling.
There is a certain kind of customer I had in mind from the very beginning: someone who has moved past the hype, who reads the label, who values substance over packaging. Someone who wants things that genuinely work, without having to spend a week doing research just to buy a face wash or a supplement.
Clovane exists for that person. Every product, every description, every decision on this site is made with them in mind. You deserve a store that respects your intelligence and your money equally.
